For Survivors

Southern Arizona Against Slavery believes that community education is critical in the fight against trafficking, because everyday citizens are the ones best equipped to spot and report human trafficking. We create professional presentations that are unique to each audience with the most up-to-date statistics and relevant stories. We present at local and regional conferences, in group and foster homes, at places of worship and other non-profit organizations, and educational institutions. SAAS tracks key federal and state legislative issues related to human trafficking, and equips Arizonans to educate lawmakers about the issue. We can equip YOU to become a modern-day Abolitionist. We are a 501(c)3 and all of our directors and members are volunteers. This means that 100% of your tax-deductible donations go to increasing awareness and ending slavery. SAAS strongly believes in the power of collaboration, and for this reason we are dedicated to connecting with like-minded organizations and individuals, whether that be through collaboration, partnership or fundraising efforts. SAAS has sponsored direct service efforts such as building a residential facility in Southern Arizona for survivors and collaborating with TPD on prevention efforts.

For Advocates

Yes! There are many ways to get involved with SAAS. Our volunteers assist with direct-service projects such as attending/leading/hosting workshops and training, as well as administrative duties such as data entry, community outreach, Social Media marketing, etc. We collaborate with local citizens on all projects to include photography, videography, community engagement, etc.

EVENforONE is excited to explore how we can best support the referral aspects of the counter-trafficking fight and will be launching refined services and tools in the future!
Due to this developmental season we'll be temporarily stepping back from case management, for both overcomers and other anti-trafficking organizations. The primary purpose is to take what we’ve been learning so far and improve our support structure and our processes to ensure we’re contributing to effective and sustainable healing outcomes for everyone engaging with our advocacy-based assistance in the future. While we're on this pause, our public database will still remain fully available for use.
This is a public database of resources available in the counter-trafficking fight. We do our best to verify these resources are safe and trustworthy, but EVENforONE assumes no responsibility related to your use of these resources - use at your own risk - and please make the best decisions you can to guard your own safety. As a whole, the anti-trafficking community still has a lot to learn about how to collaborate well for assisting overcomers in a consistently healthy way, and EVENforONE desires to be a positive advocate for that as we learn and grow too.
