A Safe Place is an empowerment organization focusing on prevention, advocacy and restoration for victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
Victim Identification & Crisis Response: Available for victimized individuals, tipsters, and general inquiries. Callers are provided with emergency supplies and ongoing resources and support.
Restorative Housing: We offer survivors and their children free, trauma focused, temporary housing for up to 60 days in a safe, secure location, monitored by trained staff 24 hours a day.
Outreach Center & Case Management: Our Outreach Center is available to any victim identified by A Safe Place, partner organizations, or law enforcement.
A Safe Place’s subject matter experts train sector specific professionals, organizational partners, and community members on basic human trafficking information, victim identifiers, stigma and changing perceptions, the intersections of trauma, substance abuse and trafficking and how to safely assist survivors and connect them with programs at A Safe Place.
