About EVENforONE

We envision a world where safe pathways exist for survivors of human trafficking to reclaim their agency and freedom in their journey towards restoration.

Our mission is to unite the counter trafficking movement and remove barriers to restoration for survivors of human trafficking through innovative technology, education and advocacy. Ensuring rapid and safe access to aftercare resources.

We value: Life, Freedom, Safety, Integrity, Transparency, Unity, and Innovation.

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."
Proverbs 31:8-92

Helping overcomers through Technology

We recognizes the need for technological innovation within the counter trafficking fight, particularly in the referral space. We plan to provide a safe, fast, and easy-to-use platform for overcomers and service providers to access current and reliable information about organizations allied in the fight to help.

Helping overcomers through Education

We believe that education is the key to harm prevention.

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
- Nelson Mandela

Through education initiatives designed for law enforcement, safe homes, and the church, we aim to see trafficking prevented as well as safety and security established for those that have already experienced trafficking.

Helping overcomers through Advocacy

We recognizes that the challenges overcomers face when seeking aftercare are often exacerbated by the effects of trauma on the brain. That is why we believe advocacy is a crucial component and a missing link in the referral process. We aim to provide trained advocates who support overcomers in navigating the often difficult process of pursuing care.

Advocacy goes beyond that though, it is about elevating overcomer voices in all we say and do from internal policies and procedures to external conversations, ensuring their perspectives and needs are always front and center.
It is not merely technology that needs to be upgraded, but also direct human impact.

Helping the many, by starting
with ONE

EVENforONE represents and advocates for the importance and infinite value of every single individual life that is impacted by sex trafficking. It is easy for us all to get desensitized to faceless statistics or overwhelmed by the magnitude of a humanitarian crisis like trafficking in all its forms. EVENforONE is not just about trying to solve a “problem” or fix a massive societal failure. We can’t forget that behind this “issue” are millions of ONES who need intervention, help and protection. EVENforONE is a reminder that every individual matters, this entire project would be worth it if only one single life was transformed for the better, and by helping one at a time we can all help MANY.

What's in a name?

While Shakespeare once said names don't matter as long as identity remains true, here at EVENforONE everything we do is done with intentionality and purpose. We want to be open and transparent about who we are, what we do, and why we do it, which even includes things like our logo and name.

Our Name: In the book of Matthew in the Bible there is a story about a good shepherd who left all the sheep who were safe in order to go search for the single one that was lost and in danger. Our heart is to walk as our good shepherd does, helping one at a time those who are broken and wandering and in need of restoration. We understand there are many in need, but we believe we can only focus on the one who is directly in front of us. As we do that the best we can, our efforts are multiplied because that one will often help another, and the ripple effect will extend far beyond what we are capable of on our own.

Our Logo:
We know that logos are unique and speak to the core identity of an organization and its heart and focus. The foundation for our logo is the cursive version of the Paleo Hebrew letter "Aleph" which is the first (or ONE) letter of the Hebrew Alphabet. It symbolizes strength, freedom, unity, new beginnings, and leadership. We see and acknowledge that every overcomer of trafficking is inherently designed by our creator with strength and freedom and that new beginnings are always possible. We believe that the voices of overcomers carry the most weight and authority in the fight to end trafficking and that they are capable and able and should be leaders in this movement.  We believe that unity in the counter-trafficking movement is necessary to truly create lasting impact.

Our Colors: We have chosen colors which represent how we see the true identity and nature of the amazing humans who are overcoming trafficking and exploitation.

Purple/Blue: Purple and blue are historically 2 of the most rare dye colors available, and their hues were reserved for royalty alone. We believe in calling out the true and deep identity of the Creator's children as his sons and daughters. No matter how broken or rejected they may feel, they are still created for incredible purpose and meaning.

White: White represents the purity that was stolen from overcomers during their trafficking experiences, but also the confidence that healing is possible. Restoration to original design is our heart's cry for every single ONE that has experienced exploitation.

“See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven. What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that wandered? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never wandered. So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."
Matthew 18:10-14
